Westwood Care Center (Trisun Care Center-Westwood) was a nice place with friendly and helpful staff. The bedroom was a decent size with a bathroom and a closet.

There is a high staff turnover and they had a recent resident wander out the door of the main facility. I looked at the memory unit and the staff is HORRIBLE. I only saw one man and a petite women helping the residents. I have witnessed them talking ugly and yelling at the 4 residents in the memory unit.
There are staff that try to do their job well. Nursing home care offers a high level of medical care and assistance for seniors with chronic conditions and disabilities. Skilled nursing care is provided 24/7, which makes this type of long-term care an expensive option. Our understanding is that the sitter is there as a companion for our mother and not a Holmgreen Nursing staff.
